About Us
Modular Masts started operations in 1998 and has shown resilience in a very competitive market throughout our existence. The business is highly adaptable and we continuously expand our product range.
We plan and source effective solutions to enable our services and products to stay relevant and competitively priced.
We are known for our lattice towers throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries. At first, we only manufactured tubular lattice structures. We have since expanded our product range to include angular lattice structures, guyed lattice masts, lighting poles and comprehensive fencing solutions for telecommunication base stations. Also, enquire about our structural upgrade and replacement solutions for at-risk towers.
CLIENT SERVICE
Our extensive range of products and services allows us to offer convenience and adaptability across different site build requirements as diverse as our client base. We can design, manufacture and deliver within three to six weeks. We have a team of engineers who design and oversee our manufacturing processes, while also offering the service of installation by our own rigging teams.
Our designs are supplied together with the best suited footing / base structure designs and are adaptable to in-situ soil conditions, with the option to include perimeter fencing.
All structural steel used for the manufacture of masts are certified and in accordance to the requirements of the Quality standards (SANS 1431).
Our Welders and Welding Operators are evaluated periodically to ensure optimum performance and quality in accordance to the code.t

Throughout the years Modular Masts has developed a strategy to help improve the living conditions in our surrounding community by creating equal opportunity for members from various households to be eligible for short term employment and training at our facility. We believe that it is up to the employers to help alleviate poverty in their communities. Through the skills-development programs that we offer, we help young people to become qualified and employable.
